While perusing some news this afternoon, I came across the following headline:

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson raises eyebrows with comment that First Amendment “hamstrings” government

This should raise more than eyebrows. First off, it should send major warnings to such Constitutional scholars as Barack Obama as well as President Biden as her statement reflects she is not someone who can perform her duties as a member of SCOTUS.

Secondly, her oath of office as recommended by Article VI of the Constitution states

“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

The oath currently reads:

“I, ________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

In short, Justice Brown-Jackson says she does not support the Constitution.

Nor it is her duty or privilege to amend the Constitution. Although courts decide how law should be interpreted in a specific case, their ruling is not law.

A judge’s ruling only becomes law through the legislative branch, both House and Senate, voting to amend the law or to write a new one. As a result, it is very bad precedent for any judge to comment how they would rule given a set of circumstances, especially one which would subvert the Constitution by legislating from the bench.

As I have stated many times, today’s fruit produced by the tree of freedom planted in 1776 and provided massive growth nutrients in 1789 by the passing of the Constitution, seems to have fallen on a different continent – it is that far from home.

Americans would do well to ‘hamstring’ government by voting only for Constitutionalists from this time forward. By doing so, the American Republic may once again produce fruit.

But should you care to shrug your shoulders, vote for the person who gives you the most stuff, and generally ignore what your government is doing to you daily, you should get my book (because you will need it). It’s entitled Prospering in a Socialist Society and you can obtain a copy by clicking on the title.
